As one of Atlanta’s most iconic and beloved parks, of course Piedmont Park has made its way onto the silver screen. It’s been used in films “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” You can even catch glimpses of the park Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War”.

I used to see filming over there routinely, it's been way off with COVID but has started back some.  One day last fall I encountered a considerable amount of snow near the track.  We watched them film some of Ozark from our balcony a couple weeks back.

See, I read this headline, think of the Braves' World Series losses and UGA's lack of a NC since the year I was born and think, WOW!  They REALLY like being #2.

I imagine LA is Number 1 for historical reasons of course.  The Braves have been No. 2 to LA the past couple nights also.

It is interesting to watch a film production, a TON of people "standing around", they make 4-5-6 takes, stand around some more, maybe make a couple more, these last maybe 10 seconds each or so, then pack everything up, which takes hours.  It takes a lot of effort and people to put 10 seconds in the can.  They use some really bright lights also, they were filming a movie "The Valet" near us and had an elevated light that threw shadows in the condo, from 2 blocks away, and it wasn't point at us.

I have a couple thick ribeyes from Costco sitting out coming up to room T, simple seasoning.  I opened a bottle of Kirkland Stags Leap Red Wine, and decanted, it's excellent, still needs a half an hour of aie.  The wife is doing broccoli, and I'm about ready to fire up the grill.  She likes hers blu rare, which should be easy with this thick a steak.  I am more med rare to rare.

I go four min a side for mine and two for hers.

We're going here tonight: http://www.brugrill.com/

Good place.

Decided we wanted a date night out, since the kids are gone to their mom's house as of this morning.

This leads me to a question of how many wars had China actually participated in? Seems like not many, give or take a couple proxy wars with the US.

Granted, they seems to lack scruples, as our Texan friend said, which creates some tricky dynamics.

@847badgerfan

I know you love the new remodeled condo, but.............

It may be a tiny shack on an island, but it could be your tiny shack on an island. Right now, Sea Shell Key, also known as "Pretty Joe Rock," is currently on the market in the Florida Keys.

From the looks of it - it's one good blow from being a tiny rock of an island
