The Biden administration is taking the first steps toward requiring nearly all international visitors to the U.S. to be vaccinated for the coronavirus.

That’s according to a White House official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to preview the policy under development. The requirement would come as part of the administration’s phased approach to easing restrictions for foreign travelers to the country. No timeline has yet been determined.

Interagency working groups are studying how and when to safely move toward resuming normal travel. Eventually all international citizens entering the country, with some limited exceptions, are expected to need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the U.S.

this should help Texas, Cali, and Florida ;)
Sounds great.  Let see if it applies to the people crossing illegally- who have no intention of being visitors.

BLM is a humanitarian organization. That is literally what it is.
C'mon Sam would you wish those contemptible, anarchist, hacks have an exercise in your neighborhood? In Cleveland they were smashing bus shelters, and Forget how many Horses in the mounted units were injured. Because as we all know those horses and bus shelters had it coming - and for quite some time. This isn't a political statement,Wanton violence and vandalism is their M.O. Do you think in their practices would fly in Beijing,Moscow, Saudi Arabia or Singapore?

pay attention in school and exert ones self and that can happen.Into this world we're thrown sang the DOORS,one can only control/process what is in front of you at least somewhat. You have much to say inside your immediate houshold/family outside of that everyone is pretty much on their own.Unless one is mentally disabled, there is no excuse for not developing one's work ethics or abilities

I have a different view of "humanitarian" acts, I suppose.

Plenty of things are actions without being humanitarian.  And the protests by and large were not orchestrated by some national entity, they just happened locally.  And some of course ended up being very anti-humanitarian in any sense of the term.

What has National BLM done to help anyone?
I mean, I don't know, I don't follow the national organization. But they if they aren't doing anything they also aren't causing riots, so clearly people aren't talking about them. The BLM that most people refer to is the very loose collection of protests related to policing of black people.

You could say the same about the peaceful protest at the capitol.

you see how this works?  Everyone is on to it.
You can say what you want. But the idea that people didn't protest peacefully is false. There have been literally hundreds of protests. Lots of people made a point to do them peacefully. To paint them with a broad brush as all involving riots and violence is factually wrong and really, very unfair to the thousands of people who exercised their rights.

Agreed.  And that broad brush works both ways.
when people caught in the act of throwing lit Molotov cocktails into an occupied police vehicle are bailed out by politicians, and people caught in the act of lighting fires, throwing ice bottles at police or beating people up, are not prosecuted or bailed out because they are “peaceful protesters“ then the broad brush is working the other way.

I saw many many peaceful protests and peaceful protesters and I have not seen anyone have a problem with that.

I definitely, 100 percent, disagree with that. The amount that has been taken has far, far exceeded the amount given.

The answer to solving problems does not begin with throwing money at the problems.
When someone sues, they are usually alleging a harm has been done and money will fix it. That's been a pretty large part of American society for a long time. Further, the actual problem is that lives and property has been taken unfairly for hundreds of years, and this causes people to be a heck of a lot poorer than they should be. So, I think throwing money at the problem is the easiest and really only fix.

there's far too much suing someone or something and passing money around IMO
