NYC will be fine, one mayor serving one term isn't going to destroy the city. Hard to argue with the last part, NYC is a great place to visit for the summer, horrible place to live- I couldn't do it.

It’s also Worth noting, they’ve had more than a few dipshit mayors, and used to be run by an insane tyrant from the shadows. And somehow it still stands.

well New Yorkers are always going to move down to Florida for retirement or well before retirement age for a change of pace, that will never change.

but some mass exodus from NYC like there was during COVID just ain't gonna happen because of a guy serving one term as mayor. a global pandemic with forced lockdowns & forced vaccinations does not = a guy being mayor for a term. NYC is the financial, media, fashion, & real estate capital of the US and the entire world really- people & businesses aren't going to leave or relocate just because a guy becomes mayor for 4 years.
