GA student in ICE custody after mistaken traffic stop to have immigration hearing – WSB-TV Channel 2 - Atlanta

I don't think folks like this should be soaking up resources needed to deport violent illegals.

That's how I was able to pick up a potential T2D diagnosis: A1Cs that were way too high on an annual lab panel.
How are you fixing this? It's really important.

they're obviously trying to send a message - one that doesn't need to be sent in my opinion

Carbs and portion control. I've also got diabetes coming from all four grandparents, so I've got a strong genetic predisposition towards it.

I'm now walking around in the low 220s instead of the low 250s. I feel much better.

Mike, after after all the coverup they did on his mental health (I use coverup loosely because they didn't fool anybody) I'm 100% certain they knew about this beforehand.  No doubt in my mind.

That could be, and I'm not arguing otherwise.  I only wanted to say A) if you do checkups and screenings as recommended by your doctor, you will almost certainly avoid winding up in this spot, and B) his office either released a very poorly worded statement, or there's more going on than what they released, and that there's a few different options for what that could be, one being that he simply declined screenings for a prolonged period of time for whatever reason.

My doc didn't ask if I wanted PSA run.  Blood was drawn and a rather large battery of analyses were reported.  I had never heard of most of them.

Most people don't know what tests they need.  I suspect most doctors are like the one I worked for and just order the ones they deem appropriate.  They can't force patients to do them, of course.  Lots of ours refused.  It always mystified me, when they had good insurance that paid for their labs 100%.  Men were worse, on average.  It was like dead-lifting pyramid stones to get men to do their labs.  Both men and women frequently refused to do colonoscopies.  It was the most refused screening we ordered.

Both she and my wife discharged a few patients over the years for stuff like that, which is a thing that can happen if you don't do what your doc wants you to do.

I like my doc, he seems level headed, to me.  I do what he says except the colonoscopy thing, I think I am almost past the age where it's needed, and I don't like'em.

He got right on my heart flutter thing.  But once they pull blood, just do it all.

yes, I trust my doc, he's a year older than me.
I put the colonoscopy off a few years until he became adamant and then did it at 55
whatever blood tests or labs or whatever he suggests, I git R done.

Did my c'scopy a few years ago after losing a close friend and co-worker to colon cancer.  He was 2 years younger than me.

I suppose I'm due in 2 years for my 2nd at 65 - ten years after the first.
I might put it off a year, maybe not - I've heard that after 75 it's not recommended
It would be nice to only do two of them and not a 3rd

I have an annual physical with a whole series of blood and urine test. Get the old finger up the butt.  Every 5 years a colonoscopy. (Father has colon cancer).

Figure it doesn't hurt and I have a great base and trend lines for diagnostic purposes.
