the polls in my small town are busy before and after working hours - most employers understand if you come in 30 minutes late in the morning or leave 30 minutes early in the afternoon to vote - If someone REALLY wants to vote, they will find a way.  The hurdles aren't that tall.  not even for the poor and oppressed

Some of these "issues" I really think are blown out of proportion by ... political parties and politicians.  We do have really serious problems out there, so talking up minor problems keeps them in the background.

well what constitutes a crowd in your community would maybe just be a gathering in others. People like it or not just might want to mail it in. See the Hatfield/McCoy commotion started at a polling place on election day. So not out of the realm another fracus could emerge from such a place

Politicians, I think, like to "gin up" partisan issues that really are not that significant, to me, to avoid the big ones they know they can't resolve.  Most of the burfle I hear from them is just that, ridiculous burfle.

OK, billionaires are bad, we're told, so they want to raise marginal income tax on income billionaires don't have.

Guns are bad, so they want to "ban" a type of gun rarely used to commit crimes and ignore the other kind.

Billionaires aren't bad.  Using their financial influence to continue helping themselves, often at the expense of the rest of us is at least in poor taste and at worse unethical. 

No one would have a problem with billionaires if they didn't prey on poor labor and always seem to need more money.

I don't think all billionaires prey on poor labor and many of them give money away in large sums, so the over generalization is probably inaccurate.

Anyway, a lot of folks claim they are net bad and should be somehow taxed, without understanding taxes.
