So, income taxes, I use Turbo Tax each year.  Unfortunately I still have income from Ohio (fortunately).

I try to save a few bucks filing on line through Ohio, but this year the site was a mess.  Out of frustration, I finally decided to pay TurboTax $95 for the Ohio state form, which ended up saving me $1600 as it turned out, as TT had put some of my Ohio income on my GA state tax return.  I thought they did that but couldn't find where it was looking at the return, so it ended well.

I wanted to file everything before we leave Friday for DC.  Check box.

I should celebrate, is it 5 o'clock yet?  The French would say cinq heures, which sounds like "sank ur" or something.

Let's not remind me of something I need to do. (There's a whole weird convo to have about the tax prep industry, but perhaps for another time)

That is really cool!

Just when I am convinced no good can ever come of the internet, I see something cool like this.

Yeah, likely we all feel the same way.  I shelled out over $130 for tax prep stuff.  The main advantage for me is I can download all the mess from my brokerage site.

I'm currently still using Turbo Tax, our investments and rental properties are still manageable enough.

But this month, my i s c & a aggie wife is incorporating and going into business for herself, with her own practice.  Our taxes are about to get significantly more complicated and I'll likely need to hire an accountant.  I could probably figure out how to do it, but it's also not likely worth my time.

I think you could manage OK initially. I did Schedule C by hand back when I had wife One.  Amortization is a bear.

Well I had a carne asada burrito and an al pastor taco for lunch. So I needed to compensate.

This thing is real, I've seen it live, rather amazing, and interesting.  It also is in a nice city.
That thing is a beauty. I've been to Barcelona around 5-6 times, my favorite city in Europe that I've been to so far. Can't believe they are still building that thing- it's been under construction since like the 1880s I think.
