Ok.  FEMA is supposed to step in and help people when there are emergencies like flooding/hurricanes.  If a supervisor directs FEMA employees to NOT HELP people who vote a certain way, that is totally disgusting, unacceptable, un- American, and….. a big part of the reason one side just suffered a major election defeat.  

if you can’t just accept and agree with that, your political bias has replaced your common sense and humanity.

We aren't talking about refusing to help. We are literally talking about knocking on someone's door, saying you are from the government and you are here to help, and expecting everyone to take that message the same way.

Nubbz said it the best - many people view FEMA workers as target practice. No one with an ounce of common sense would think that everyone views FEMA workers the same way, but we are all supposed to hang our heads at the thought that FEMA workers might know this and act accordingly.

Sorry, but I can only live in fantasy world up to a point.

Farmers could certainly do it.  Here they just hire someone to take care of that.
Also, breaking down the primal and cutting steaks and chops out of the blocks and grinding into burger

the USDA inspector likes to get involved if anything is leaving the farm

doesn't matter how they vote or if they vote

the trump sign isn't as strong an indicator as a still in the backyard

but, if you're just lookin for a reason to discriminate against a group of people or just simply not do your job............

Yeah, my uncle always sent cattle off to a butcher. It's not impossible to do yourself, but plenty difficult to handle all that for a small group

Woah, this thing is spinning out of control today.

First, it's a bit much to say FEMA Brass--suggesting senior leadership--instructed people not to visit Trump-signed properties. That's not what is being reported.

It's also completely unacceptable for a government agency to take that approach (unless they had credible threats of violence, but a Trump sign itself is not a credible threat of violence). Yes, there are credible threats of violence out there, but just putting a Trump sign in your yard doesn't turn you into a threat.

It also sounds like FEMA brass did the right thing: they fired the person responsible. There are stupid people--and people who make stupid decisions--in every large organization. You can't completely prevent bad actors. And--to be clear--that kind of instruction is a very bad act.

Gonna have to disagree with that. In fact, I hate it. FEMA should be more concerned with (1) protecting their workers and (2) not bothering people who very vocally don't want to be bothered more than they should be concerned with treating people with Trump signs as some sort of protected class.
