The Marines have four divisions but often operate as an MEU or MEF format.

They are mostly proud they survived

Some recipes are just not helpful.

There is no universal definition of jumbo shrimp. Online it says that it can often refer to 16-20 count and it can also often refer to 21-25 count shrimp. Assuming the midpoints (18 and 23), 16 shrimp could be as much as 0.88 lbs or as little as 0.7 lbs. 20 shrimp could be as much as 1.25 lbs or as little as 0.87 lbs.

You just have to gauge how oxymoronic they look....

As well they should be.

This thing is real, I've seen it live, rather amazing, and interesting.  It also is in a nice city.

Yup it's pretty striking and impressive.

And I loved spending time in Barcelona, really want to go back sometime soon.

This thing is also real, and located up the road from me about 25 miles, it's amazing to see it nestled in amongst a Waffle House and a strip mall.

So, income taxes, I use Turbo Tax each year.  Unfortunately I still have income from Ohio (fortunately).

I try to save a few bucks filing on line through Ohio, but this year the site was a mess.  Out of frustration, I finally decided to pay TurboTax $95 for the Ohio state form, which ended up saving me $1600 as it turned out, as TT had put some of my Ohio income on my GA state tax return.  I thought they did that but couldn't find where it was looking at the return, so it ended well.

I wanted to file everything before we leave Friday for DC.  Check box.

I should celebrate, is it 5 o'clock yet?  The French would say cinq heures, which sounds like "sank ur" or something.

My 3rd favorite city in Europe (Florence and Amsterdam 1-2).

Will be doing Amsterdam, Munich and Lisbon this year.

I really liked Lyon, FR also.  Brussels was nice, a lot of museums.  Marseille was "interesting", pretty dirty in areas.  we missed Florence last year, should  get there this year, maybe.

There are some island cities I liked too. The places on Sardinia are really nice. Corsica and Majorca too.

Major Payne, in my view, is an under appreciated pretty bad awful comedy of a movie that makes me laugh.

Yup Barcelona is way up there for me.

I spent three months in Leuven, which is a major university town outside of Brussels.  It's pretty awesome.  It was easy to day-trip into Brussels but Leuven was much more of a Belgian town compared to an international city.  That's a fave.

Also love Firenze, I'm a medieval freak nerd and it's pretty much the ultimate.

And then there's Prague, what an incredible town that is.

Our 2020 trip was going to hit Budapest, Croatia, and Greece.  Now we'll likely do that in 2022.
