My nephew lives a bit out of town and they keep chickens on their property, and give us free eggs any time we get by there.

I can taste a difference, they're definitely better, but they're not so much better that they justify the $4/dozen difference they'd charge me at the farmer's market for them.
Worth every penny. Fresh and natural food is worth the couple extra bucks here and there compared to the medical expenses avoided. Getting it local, directly from the farm is worth the extra time and money. I'm two years getting as much as possible direct, making as much at home from scratch and it completely transferred my health. It's definitely not a "diet" but a complete lifestyle change. Our eggs are $5 per dozen and we go through 6 dozen a week in our house. worth every penny.

We COULD have an immigration law overhaul with some compromise, but Trump historically hasn't worked out compromise in the past.
Now that is funny.

I personally don't view terms like "hypoallergenic" or "cage free" or "organic" or "all natural" as being anything but marketing, perhaps there are exceptions.  I see things like "gluten free" on vodka for crying out loud.  Plenty of natural stuff is really unhealthy to humans of course.

Cage-free hens are spared several severe cruelties that are inherent to battery cage systems. But it would nevertheless be a mistake to consider cage-free facilities to necessarily be "cruelty-free." Here are some of the more typical sources of animal suffering associated with both types of egg production:

Both systems typically buy their hens from hatcheries that kill the male chicks upon hatching—more than 200 million each year in the United States alone.
Both cage and cage-free hens have part of their beaks burned off, a painful mutilation.
Both cage and cage-free hens are typically slaughtered at less than two years old, far less than half their normal lifespan. They are often transported long distances to slaughter plants with no food or water.
While the vast majority of the battery and cage-free egg industry no longer uses starvation to force molt the birds, there are battery and cage-free producers alike who still use this practice.
So, while cage-free does not necessarily mean cruelty-free, cage-free hens generally have significantly better lives than those confined in battery cages. The ability to lay their eggs in nests, run and spread their wings are tangible benefits that shouldn't be underestimated.

I don't think "cage free" has any legal definition, or any inspection system to ensure hens are "cafe free", outside a few states.  They could not be in cages but still in very crowded restricted spaces.  To me, it is gimmicky.

The laws in California, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington dictate that shell and liquid eggs (including egg yolks or egg whites) must come from indoor or outdoor cage-free housing systems that meet the United Egg Producers' guidelines.

Not all USDA graded eggs are cage-free, and not all cage-free eggs are graded by USDA.  But, eggs packed under a USDA Grade Shield and marketed as cage-free – or with any other production claim – must be source-verified by USDA through onsite farm visits, at least twice annually, to check that the laying hens are housed in the appropriate production system.  For AMS approval, cage-free eggs must be produced by hens housed in a way that allows for not only unlimited access to food and water, but, unlike eggs from caged hens, also provides them the freedom to roam during the laying cycle.

We also know some consumers prefer their eggs to come from “free range” hens.  For those eggs, we verify they are produced by hens that are not only housed in a way that allows for unlimited access to food and water and provides the freedom to roam within the area like cage-free hens but also gives the hens continuous access to the outdoors during their laying cycle.

“Grass fed” vs “Pasture Raised”: Getting technical… “Grass fed” only refers to the cow’s diet, not *where* it is eating said grass. Grass fed cows have better fatty acid and micronutrient profiles, however, make sure they are listed as either “100% grass fed” or “grass finished” to ensure they aren’t fattened on soy, corn and other grains before slaughter. These details matter most for tallow, since feeding makes the biggest difference in the nutrients & quality of the fat, not so much the muscle“Pasture raised” refers to livestock that spent >120 days per year outdoors on pasture. These cows can still technically be fed supplemental corn and soy while pasturing, but benefit from sunlight and predominantly graze on pasture. Ideally you want both, and either is better than traditionally raised cattle, but 100% grass fed & pasture raised would be the standard. Everything is a spectrum, ideally know your farmer and your farm so you can see the conditions of the animal.

In Hawaii, the stores sell "Parker Ranch Beef", or used to.  I tried it, they were tough and not good.  There are no feed lots on the island.

I worked for a company trying to devise gimmick gimmick for marketing and sales.  I was mostly insulated from it, but had the occasional brush.  They would come to me to ask if we could somehow patent their latest gimmick.

We don't buy store brand eggs. They suck.
I got news for you, they all come from the same place.

I worked at an egg processing plant duing my college years. They would recieve eggs from the egg farms by the truck load and be stored in a cold storage warehouse. Every day, we would take the eggs to the egg processing machines that would clean the eggs, run them through a candling screening, sort them and then package them in egg cartons and then into cases.

My job was to track the orders that came in from grocery stores, and brand name eggs suppliers. Each day, we had x number of cases of each variety that needed to ship that evening. I would track these orders and let the people on the lines know when to switch from one brand to another. All that was involved in that was to change the carton that the eggs were going into.

There was one brand that stood out to me. It was called Low Cal 40. They were marketed as a low calorie egg aimed at those wishing to loose weight. They sold for about twice what a similar dozen of eggs would cost. When we were fulfiling those orders, I would find a line that was packaging medium eggs and tell them to switch to Low Cal 40's at a point and give me X number of cases. When that order was fullfilled, they would go to another brand (store brand or name brand) and package medium eggs. There was absolutely no difference between a store brand medium egg and the Low Cal 40 egg, except the price.
