$163B annually isn't exactly meaningless.
my brother in christ it is completely and utterly meaningless when US national debt is $36+ trillion and growing like a weed by the second, US gov't is running $1.9 trillion deficits and annual interest costs on US national debt are now over $1 trillion.
US gov't spending increased by nearly
$800 billion and the deficit increased by more than
$320 billion from 2022 to 2023. Same shit happening from 2023 to 2024. Deficit just went from $1.7 trillion to $1.9 trillion with a month to go which means it's gonna top $2 trillion. Yikes.
Get that poultry $163 billion from those top 1%'ers, tax the billionaires into oblivion....and none of it would put a dent or mean fuck all until the US gov't starts slashing the spending with a hatchet in a huge way.
Propping up a wholly corrupt shithole eastern european country that has transformed into what is effectively a dictatorship and turning it into an effective vassal/colony of the US empire via US gov't using tax payer dollars to prop up an entire foreign government and arming/funding a foreign military to the hilt in an unnecessary proxy war to the tune of
$200+ billion fucking dollars all in an attempt to try to bleed the 2nd largest nuclear power on planet earth seems like a giant fucking waste of US tax payer dollars and a giant money laundering operation and a bunch of fucking morons in the Biden administration and the US state department and CIA playing with fire....nuclear fire....the type that could kill us all.
And this is just one little example of thousands of the US gov't pissing away it's tax payer dollars and giving it's citizens the middle finger.
