You’re kidding right?  People on their porches?  Curfew.  After letting Minneapolis burn for days and doing NOTHING to the actual rioters.  You proved my point and I thank you.

lol.  No.  That was Walz flexing his muscle on curfew violators from Covid restrictions he imposed.  They had the audacity to be on their front porch.

But the bolded isn't true. There was no COVID curfew. There was a George Floyd riots/protest curfew. And there were cops who were chasing people into their house. 

Those cops were flagrantly out of line, and if we want to talk about that, it's a chat to have. But it has everything to do with government response to unrest and zero to do with COVID. The idea of a COVID curfew is, as far as I can tell, made up.

So we agree that the cops, even in a riot curfew situation, are wrong to chase people indoors from their own porches with non-lethal munitions? If they’re Tim Walz’s cops committing that overreach, then I don’t see much issue with criticizing him for it.

there was a curfew.  Innocent people were on their porches obviously nowhere near the riot.  The police were authorized to shoot them.  Paintballs. 

Those same police were not authorized to do anything to the rioters.  Walz wouldn’t allow it.  He actually defended them. 

So do we agree those cops were out of line, or no?
