I'd guess there were, and bad as well, and some in the middle.

But I don't know a soul who was there.  Most such events have some folks who meant well at least at the start.  It's akin to riots, they may start off as sincere peaceful protests, and then as the crowd grows, it may attract folks more intent on violence and/or looting.
