So... I guess today's the day we get the BBQ tour around Atlanta?

Coulda sworn that was on the Calendar for next Thursday...

The new Audi EV based on the Porsche Taycan is interesting.  I imagine charging rates will continue to improve, some, we could be near some maximum without a new battery type.  The one has a 93 KwH battery pack which should be good for over 300 miles.  Drive 280 miles, stop for lunch and recharge, and drive another 280 miles, should be enough for a day for most.  (If you can find a fast charger.)

The E-Tron GT adopts an 800-volt charging architecture for ultra-fast charges. Using a 270-kW DC fast-charger, the car can go from 5 to 80 percent charge in a claimed 22 minutes. It'll also reportedly gain a maximum of 62 miles of range in 5 minutes under optimal conditions.

Nope, today.  As you know, I've been looking for good Q places, I'd never heard of most of these, not surprisingly.  On the other hand, I'm  happy with Fox Bros.  I want to try Community some time.  The wife is a fan of good BBQ.  I once thought we'd move to Lyon and I'd open a rib joint.  She laughed.

Things Southern she has adopted, and not adopted:

Sweat tea
Corn bread and hushpuppies
Fried chicken
BBQ
Cole slaw (we are both particular about it)
Baked beans and tater salad (if good)
Greens (if good)

She has yet to adopt:

Fried oysters and shrimp
Y'all
Settin' on the porch
Fried jalapenoes and mushrooms

Odd that she doesn't like the fried oysters and shrimp, as seafood is a pretty common part of the diet in much of France.  And the fact that she likes fried chicken would seem to indicate it's not a texture-thing.

We have several BBQ/Asian fusion type places around here as well. For the most part, they're quite good.

She likes raw oysters, a lot.  She thinks frying them is a travesty.  She never orders fried shrimp, I think she'd like it if she did.  They don't fry things in  France much except freedom  fries.

The Whole Foods near us will shuck oysters for you, ten for $10, if you eat them on premise, and they have a rooftop "bar" area that is pretty neat.  I think it reopened a few weeks back.

That was pretty good, very talented youngsters. And the guitar player even looks a little bit like Jimmy Page.
Yep he gets that a lot

Ive followed them for a while

Its an all cast

The drummer is from Germany

the singer believe it or not is Russian

and the guitar player is from some Baltic country not sure which
