If people are "out there" trying to indoctrinate you and yours, then isn't it on you if you're allowing yourself to be exposed to their message??
This is truly bizarre.

I don't allow anything.

How prevalent is this "indocntration" of school kids (6-10) to things like transgenderism?

History is fine, so long as it's not re-written. Then it becomes fiction.

I recall having a "sex-ed" segment of a social studies course in 8th grade. It was mostly birds and bees stuff - innocent, if you will. It also stressed abstaining.

(Yes, public school.)
I mean, most history taught to kids is sanitized. It’s always been rewritten from what it was to what we wanted to to be.

gender and sexual orientation aren’t really about sex ed. Schools have forever, in their way, taught people about how to be boys or girls, about the fact that kids have a mom and dad, and those pairs have babies. We’re just taking about scale.

Now there’s a case to make schools safe spaces from the idea that you can have two moms or that girls can wear pants every day and have short hair. And a case to shrug it off and let those things filter in as they might.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_dysphoria

This Disorder was not taught in schools.  It is now- and often to elementary school children, over the strong objection of their parents.  Either you agree with this policy- parents don’t know best- or you don’t.  Polling shows a significant majority of parents don’t- but it’s being done anyway.
I’d agree this shouldn’t be taught to young kids Way over their heads, and such. (The idea that parents know best is dicey to me, mostly because it puts trust in people, and I try to avoid that on a large scale)

They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

OK, some national union unveils a toolkit.  That doesn't mean it's widely employed, or widely ignored, or widely used with 6 year olds.

I really have no reliable information as to whether this sort of thing really is a rarity or widely spread and practiced.  I do know it is a thing which can be whipped up well past molehill status.

A friend of mine went to a PTA meeting in north Oakland County MI, a very conservative area. They went there with their kid, and grand kids.

They were all shocked to see vivid and near pornographic photos and posters lining the walls and cases in the hall way- relating to trans and drag. This was at 3-4 ft height- in a hallway where 2nd and 3rd graders have classrooms.

When they tried to discuss it with the teachers, the response they got was "that is our policy and we are not allowed to discuss it"

They went home and posted this information on Google. Google took it down in an hour.

Thats how this works. Tell people its NOT prevalent- its not happening. And the tribe repeats it, on forums lije this one.
