my only consern is the Judge who is very left leaning

if she does her job the case will be dismissed but something inside me says that aint gonna happen

it could very well have to be appealed

Development Tour | Midtown ATL

Nearly all of this is apartments, generally pricey, $3K per month for a 2 bdr is common.  And they keep starting new buildings.

Ah, now I know why there was a pickup roaming the neighborhood on Saturday with two massive flags sticking out of the bed-- one USA, and the other "Let's Go Brandon.

so...this whole Trump indictment thing....anyone want to take a stab at it without getting political?

Until he appears in court tomorrow and we see the charges against him, we don't know what the Manhattan DA has on him.

IMHO New York is the least of his problems. Georgia and the federales have the much stronger cases against him, and I'm surprised that they haven't beaten New York to the punch. And then we have this:

Ask Robert Mueller how well it turned out selling top secret material to the highest bidder.

I don't put political signs up, because my parents taught me there are certain things you don't discuss publicly.  Hell, the talk where they told me they were voting for Perot (I think the Statute of Limitations has run) was more intense than the sex talk.

But, people put political signs up.  I don't get it, has it ever swayed a single voter?  But I don't really judge it, because it's a thing.  But the extent to which the pro-Trump stuff has gone, I find slightly alarming.  Not even pro party, or pro cause.  It's literally pro one shitty dude.  It's insane.  There is a house I pass on the way to daycare, which is decked out in Trump stuff.  Full roof flag, signs covering the yard.  And the house next to it, is for sale.  If you've got one sign in your yard, whatever, if I like the house next door, even if I disagree with your politics, whatever.  I couldn't move into a house next door to that.

He has made elections "me vs. not me".  The only reason Biden won was because he was "not me".  Nobody was riding for Biden.  He was just the most milquetoast option.

I think signs for local elections may make a difference, e.g., judgeships, state reps, etc.

A political sign for Trump is basically an invitation for someone to get angry for no reason and perhaps damage your property, same with a bumper sticker of any kind.

I have always thought that.  The only thing a bumper sticker does is make me yell at your candidate when you cut me off

this is true...we don't know the specific charges as the indictment was sealed...BUT from all the media reports/leaks....we have a general idea...and if that general idea holds true...this case amounts to nothing but a bunch of bullshit imo. we'll find out soon enough though....

RE that video.....um the US gov't paid Nixon for docs/tapes he took from the WH from his time as President....not raid his home....not sure what you're getting at talking about selling top secret material to the highest bidder. Believe Trump was referring to the US gov't doing something similar in his case....maybe negotiating a settlement....not raid his house with a swat team in a show of force like the dude was Osama Bin Laden.

Not sure the Feds have much of a case either on the classified docs thing....Presidents have the right to take materials from their time as President, and I'm sure a lot of boxes/docs get lost in translation/mixed up in the process of leaving the WH. Also...the President is declassifier in chief....he can declassify any f'n thing he wants to- he doesn't need anyone's permission to do so. And with Biden having taken classified docs from his time as VP- which is even more serious imo- as VP doesn't have sweeping powers a President has when it comes to declassifying info....going to make it hard to go after one guy and not the other without appearing to be a political persecution/hit job.

IMO the most serious thing facing Trump are any potential charges in Georgia- where he's on tape saying to a Georgia state election official- "I need you to find me 11,780 votes".

But that's true of ANY bumper sticker, not just political ones.

For example, I always have some particularly choice words for the guy who cuts me off and has a Texas A&M sticker on his car.
