I don't think any R35s ever fought a Panther.
Well after they over ran France the Gerries were in possession of all of them

No doubt some were captured by the Russkis, but I'd guess they laughed at them.  They used the Grant tanks we sent them mostly as armored personnel carriers apparently.

The Russkis had some pretty good tanks.

They won't let me give blood anymore. The burnt orange color scares the hell out of the doctors.

Anyone else paying attention to the World Cup?

Thrilling finish just now by Croatia versus Brazil.   Such intense momentum swings in the last few minutes.   Brazil- the favorite- is out.

Yeah, it's why there is a soccer thread.  I'm just pissed we don't get Spain-Portugal after England-France tomorrow due to PKs.

I think in knockout play they need to go to Golden Goal immediately, and play until someone gets one

Celebrity chef Alton Brown committed first-degree food assault on Nebraska Friday when he posted a video on Twitter showing him pouring chili on a cinnamon roll, a method he erroneously dubbed "#LincolnNE style!"

The video shows the Food Network star, apparently at a Runza in Lincoln, pouring chili on a cinnamon roll instead of eating it separately like a normal person.

People replying on Twitter expressed their disapproval.

The Atlantic Sun and the WAC of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) have agreed to merge and form a 10-member football-only conference and make the jump to the FBS, according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Once the move is finalized, the member schools will form the 11th FBS conference.

This would be the first time since 1999, when the Mountain West was formed, that a new conference would join the FBS.

WAC football members Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian, Utah Tech, Southern Utah and Tarleton State will join Atlantic Sun members Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Central Arkansas and North Alabama to form the newly-merged FBS conference. There is currently not a name for the new conference, but it is being referred to in the planning process as “ASUN-WAC Football.”

No worries, no actual chili was harmed in the making of this video.

HOW TO MAKE BRUNSWICK STEW
Start by heating a little oil over medium heat in a large Dutch oven or heavy stock pot.  Then add the onion and cook until tender.  Then reduce the heat and add the minced garlic cooking for 1 minute while stirring constantly.  Now stir the tomato paste with 1/4 cup of chicken broth and add it to the pot.  Then add the remaining chicken broth, diced tomatoes, frozen corn, baby limas, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, ground black pepper, crushed red pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Let it simmer for about 15 minutes.  Then add the smoked pork and chicken and let it simmer for about 5 more minutes.  If desired season with salt and pepper.  Spoon into bowls and drizzle with just a little bit more barbecue sauce.
