I just wish the SC would have just left well enough alone. I think the average American doesn’t really care one way or the other, but the vocal majority on either side forces the issue.

I'll never understand having justices that are obviously one end or the other.  If your decisions are easily predictable for one party, you shouldn't even be a candidate for the SCOTUS.  We just accept that each justice is one or the other extreme.....it's pure insanity.  
Roberts is technically considered a conservative justice, but he's respected by both sides because his ruing isn't in lockstep with either radical side.
We can't find 8 more like him???  In the entire country???
