It's probably worse data, but whether it's worse enough to matter is the key.

Climate change is only a problem for the species that expects nature to remain static.  What is now the Sahara Desert was once a lush jungle.  The Appalachians are shorter than the Rockies only because they're older and more worn down.  The Himalayas didn't exist when India was an island.

France loses its wine weather.  A different location on the earth begins its wine weather.  Shrug.

It's unique.  You're not going to reproduce a Bordeaux in the UK or the USA or Argentina or Australia.  

You can still make good wines in many places, but not the same wines.  Terroir is unique and it matters significantly.
