So how did you get home?

I was home (at work). 

We had a TV in my office and watched the whole thing unfold. I always started at the office very early in the day.

I got back from Boston on 9/9 and was scheduled to fly to Portland on 9/12.

My wife was at a conference in Chicago.  She and a couple co-workers rented a car and drove 1000 miles back to the airport they flew out of for their cars.  My eldest spoke his first sentence that night, "I want my mama."

My daughter has hurt her knee playing soccer (turned out of the a torn meniscus requiring surgery).  We were at the docs waiting to see him when the TV reported the news.  I was trying to understanding how an airliner would be that low on a clear day (or any day) when the second tower was hit.

By end of the day, I really expected a torrent of attacks of some sort on an almost daily basis.

Mine was downtown as well. Everyone vacated very quickly.

The plane that was shot down in PA was over Cleveland when was forced to turn around. It was headed for

you loco essay. Chicago Deep dish isn't pizza at all and it's not based on any kind of pizza from Italy. oh and it is absolutely fucking disgusting. with a capital d. and it was invented by a white guy from Texas....which makes sense as to why it is fucking trash.

Detroit pizza is based on the sfincione pizzas made in Sicily, and it was created by Sicilian immigrants who put an American twist on an Italian dish. And it's absolutely fucking delicious. Unlike Chicago deep dish- wish is just disgusting low class trash and completely fake made up thing based on nothing. it makes me vomit just thinking of it.

Obviously plenty of folks like various kinds of pizza, no one type is inherently disgusting in any absolute sense, only to an individual or group.
