We got out of the dealer earlier than expected, too early to have lunch at the Chinese place.  My wife wanted to go by Costco, so we did, and then headed home, and she mentioned having lunch at Sweetwater Brewery, which is always good with me.  The outside was closed due to rain and cold, the inside is at least airy and we sat at the bar.  My chicken "fingers" (which I didn't know chickens had) were mediocre, the onion rings were OK, the lager was solid.

This place is "out of the way" in a small light industrial park tucked away on what once I gather was vacant land near a freeway, but the Beltline is coming through "soon" and MARTA has plans to build another stop very near it, so the place likely will change a lot in a few years, probably to more restaurants and breweries.  On a nice day we could walk to it.

Haven’t verified the numbers, but imagine: areas with ample land, ample water, and good soil for growing grass have lots of golf.

A lot of courses in Illinois were closing before I left. I think they over-built quite a bit.

I used to do a lot of work (drainage and water features) for golf course builders and haven't worked on any since 2002. I've probably done close to 30 in my time.
