Just curious where the hell are you watching the games?

I've got some chatty relatives that like to provide their own play by play and color commentary.

the next time he went on the goalline the same play worked perfectly

kids gotta execute

RB gotta go farther to the right over the DT that was playing lead fullback
like he did the 2nd time

it's the right call in the 2nd quarter, gotta figure tOSU is gonna score 21 or more at home

Bad calls all around and I fully expect the Big Ten to protect the #4 Bucks and their chance at a playoff spot - especially in the Shoe
Ya but that was for 2 not 6,and the PK was money yesterday.FWIW even the home boards were accusing the refs of sourcery.Except for the targeting that was bang-bang and a shoulder hit

It was a catch, and it was targeting. The refs tried really hard to not call either.

And Day's beard should have gotten a 15 yarder.

Watched that in slow mo online.  Forearm to the shoulder.

They are so inconsistent with targeting.

But the Huskers got both calls.  The targeting and the catch that should have never been granted.  They got both.  So- enough of complaining.

forearm may have hit the shoulder slightly before the shoulder pad hit the facemask
the forearm isn't in question

forceable contact with the shoulder pad to the head is the rule breaker here - targeting
Huskers didn't want the catch called because, then it's a fumble

I watched the same thing, and I have no dog in the fight. I agreed with the calls and the lack of one.

Announcers agreed, which I found to be interesting.

The "expert" agreed.

Despite that, I really don't care in the grand scheme. It has zero effect on my rooting interests.

I do hope OSU can kick the shit out of PSU. Not a huge fan of the bearded one. I just despise James Franklin that much.

Not much chance of that.  The OSU o- line, which looked as good as it has in years, has completely discombobulated after they lost the LT in Oregon.

it shows just how integrated a line is.   It’s like a car with 3 good tires but one flat.

Yes.   He was getting 1st round projections.  And his backup was a turnstile yesterday, and then he went down.

Nebraska toyed with the Buckeye line all day- kept going after that spot.  The others tried to help out which just opened holes in other places. Credit to the Blackshirts.  They played their asses off.

But the Penn State D-Line is elite. Abdul Carter is going to kill them.

No it was football not targeting - bang bang shoulder was hit not neck or head. Husker player immediately started chasing for the ball

Water under the bridge.   It was what it was and the Buckeyes won.   Who cares.

Carter didn't do much yesterday, surprisingly enough. PSU had no sacks. But Wisconsin had no offense, and it was only on the field for 25 minutes.

I thought they were a little generous calling him a defenseless player. If he caught the ball and lowered his head to protect himself, then how was it a catch and fumble?
