sounds like Washington State's DC is going to be leaving to join Urban Meyer's staff at Ohio State as the 10th coach. Wow. Consider me shocked. I know the guy is from Columbus, but that's just....strange. Washington State was trying to extend him and give him a pay raise. Wonder if he coaches in the bowl game?

This probably means this will be Schiano's last year as DC and this guy will take over in 2019. That'd be my guess. Either that or he hates working for Mike Leach lol.
Exactly.

looks like the Wazzu DC to OSU is official now.

My guess is he'll get the Co-Dc title and Schiano is in his last year at OSU. Would be something if Chris Ash gets fired from Rutgers after this year and Schiano goes back to Rutgers. I'd actually love to see that happen. I think Schiano could bring some juice back to Rutgers. Would like to see him go back there and build that program up another level. Would be really good for the B1G. I was against them bringing Rutgers in because I didn't want them to add a team just for TV revenue and the NYC metro tv market. Wanted them to bring teams that actually bring something to the field. Think they can be that sort of team if Schiano returns to Rutgers.

For all the good he's done at TTech and Wazzu Leach doesn't have a stellar bowl record at all. Even without their top WRs being gone and DC to OSU I'd pick MSU to win this one.
I thought I settled my debts that night on the ride home

Wazzu D-coordinator is an up and comer

some Husker fans were hoping he would be joining Frost's staff, since defense wasn't UCF's strong suite.

I'm taking Sparty in this game.

Luke Falk injured his non throwing wrist in the Apple Cup, and while apparently he's been cleared to play (again non-throwing), he may not.

IIRC Falk got benched at one point during the season, so the gap between the two guys probably isn't huge, and for both him and the program, getting the returning guy these bowl game reps, while not risking further injury to Falk, may be a win for both sides.

I'd love to watch this game, but not enough to pay for FS1

The overall crowd is better than I would have expected.

Is FS1 a premium tier?   I did not know this.
I've watched a lot of Wazzu this year, i think Falk was benched a couple times.

TCU with more tricks blowing up in their face.  That was a swell set up, poorly executed though.

Yeah, mentioned that earlier.  Once Falk starts throwing picks, he throws them in bunches, and Leach gave up on him a couple times.  Problem they have with this kid is zero arm strength.  Every time MSU gets them in 3rd and long, they are toast.
