My favorite as well.  We're having lamb chops tonight and traditional tomorrow for just the two of us.  I have some nice wines selected, one rose' from Sonoma that is almost white, they gave it only 2-3 hours of skin contact (made from pinot noir).

I have a bottle of "real" Champagne as well (which is made from some blend of chardonnay, pinot noir, and pinot meunier, on occasion only the red varietals).

I hope no one gets in this looming travel mess and no one argues politics and gets mad.

Pretty sure I know what my wife will be thankful for... I let her know on Monday this week that we can get a puppy :)

Heck... Pretty sure that's what I'm thankful for as well.

Thanks. I brought the cold weather with me to the desert.

The wife walked to the park with me (and largely sat) while I ran a bit.  It was 71°F and sunny.  We were both thankful.

I'm thankful for hot water, a nice bed, a great wife and kids, enough food to eat, being retired, living here, a whole bunch of things.

I'm thankful that:

  • Second Graders in Ohio have never known the sadness of a loss to the team up North because it hasn't happened in their seven years,
  • High School Sophomores in Ohio have only ever known the sadness of a loss to the team up North once in their 15 years,
  • Freshmen at Ohio State have only known the sadness of a loss to the team up North twice in their 18 years

Happy to all.

Limo comes tomorrow at 4:45 AM. Off to AZ to see Mrs. 847's AZ family.

Hoping to meet up with Frog Face @DevilFroggy  and 'Fro  @OrangeAfroMan  while there, but when the Mrs. that brought up to her P's, it did not go over to well with the outlaws. We'll see.

Hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving.  Mine will be quiet as the hubby has to work and while my youngest son is with us this year, my other two are in Wyoming and Kentucky, so too far away for any visit or grandkids to spoil.  My sister and I will probably spend the day playing Quiddler and Yahtzee, and I will make my usual turkey meal and save a plate for the hard working man I love.  At least he gets Christmas Day off.

I am so very thankful that my mother has weathered her latest health scare, everyone else is fairly healthy, no blizzard on the horizon and while my Huskers have struggled this year, at least we won the one game I did attend (Northwestern).  I guess you can blame my non-attendance for the losses, lol.

Well hell's bells!  I can come to you anywhere in the Phx area.  That'd be something!
