Vick was like a video game player with too many attributes maxed out.  He shouldn't be able to throw that hard and far AND run a 4.2.

His teammate sort of belongs on this list - DE Corey Moore.  He was like 6'1, 230...and unblockable.  So instead of his not being fair due to amazing physicality, his success didn't make sense due to his diminutive size.

Today, Rondale Moore.

He's listed at 5'9" 180#. Runs a sub-4.4. Plays slot receiver, returns kicks, occasional carries out of the backfield or jet sweeps.

So you think "he's just one of those shifty little fast guys--we've seen that before."

Then you find out he squats 600 lbs, has legs like tree trunks, and is almost impossible to bring down. At 5'9" 180# he'll drag defenders for yards and often takes two guys to tackle.

There's no way that someone his size, with his speed and shiftiness, should be that strong and hard to tackle.

I'm pretty sure a lot of OSU fans think he's not fair :57:
He still haunts me.  Like trying to tackle a ghost.

Terrence Cody. In 2009 (Saban's only undefeated Bama team) I felt like Bama legally played with a 12 man defense because of Cody.

Charlie Ward was a magician, escaping pass-rushers.

He'd escape a situation where maybe 8 out of 10 QBs would be sacked.  But he'd do that like 4 or 5 times in a row, so if you took it all together, it defied reason.

And he did it nonchalantly, too.

Didn’t Derrick Thomas have something like 7 sacks against the Seahawks in one game? He was a freak.

yes, until the Blackshirts got him 5 times for 39 yards in losses in Charlie's last game in the Orange
I'm sure he escaped more than 4 or 5 times as well

Yes. Also had 6 against Oakland. TEN years after his senior season at Alabama. Still going strong! He was not fair.

Most Sacks, Game
7.0 Derrick Thomas, Kansas City vs. Seattle, Nov. 11, 1990
6.0 Fred Dean, San Francisco vs. New Orleans, Nov. 13, 1983
Derrick Thomas, Kansas City vs. Oakland, Sept. 6, 1998

Yes, and Dave Krieg ducked under him on the last play to throw a game-winning TD.  He would have had 8 sacks.
