Frost v. the Bielema. Saturday, 1 pm, FOX

Are we getting to must-win status for Scott Frost? With Trev Alberts the new boss, an NCAA investigation swirling, and meager results his first three seasons, the hot seat could be coming. Losing to doormat Illinois would certainly liven up that discussion.

For his part, Bielema has no expectations and could probably show up and crush a few beers.

Finally!!! Game week!!

Some classic battles early.  Penn State versus Wisconsin, Clemson versus Georgia and many others.

I’m really looking forward to it!!

Not exactly a who's who Saturday, but we also get Hawaii at UCLA at 3:30 on ESPN and a couple games on CBSSN. I still have no problems telling my kids they are on their own for the day.

Huh? Trev's an asshole so I don't care about him but what did UNL do.....or not?

Some sort of practice time scandal - using analysts to coach the team or whatnot. Not exactly earth shattering but also not helping the Scott Frost cause.

Last year the Illini won this game 41-23, they lead the Big Ten in "super seniors," they have a LB corps that the BTN talking heads are raving about, and Bert has already proven that he can succeed in the Big Ten.
