The time zones get crazy around here, where Utah, Nevada and Arizona all intersect. One state is on Mountain time, on is on Pacific time, and one oscillates back and forth between the two essentially, as they don't recognize daylight savings time. As if that wasn't enough to keep track of in and of itself, there are some border towns that use the time of a neighboring state instead of their own.

I didn't have a strong feeling for that as a kid, but now I miss it.

Why are the mascots banned? 

They have the thickest mask in town, and they can socially distance. Stick 'em back by the uprights, and let them do their thing.
