Texas didn't have a first down in the 1st quarter.
or cross midfield but they're on the 11 now

Gunnar with a touchdown you know you're in Texas

Strategy question:  you score a TD to go up 7 with 2 min left in the game.  The other team has no timeouts.

Don't you go for 2?  You can put the game out of reach (2 scores).  You have to try that, right?
In the unlikely event the other team does score a TD, they're very likely to tie it up with an XP.

Put the game out of reach with a 2-pt conversion.
Absolutely yes, go for two. Going from 6 to 8 points with the two point play makes no difference, but going from 7 to 9 is a huge difference. It means the other team has to go the length of the field twice. Low risk, high reward.

The Gophers played a game vs Illinois one year, and this exact situation came up. There were many loud, passionate defenders of kicking the PAT.

Never seen the player who snaps the ball catch a touchdown pass before.

Texas or Ohio State will win the Natty this year imo. Preferably Texas.

Texas OL sooooo good. And Quinn is so in control. Dude has been in Sark’s system 3 years now and just knows it like the back of his hand. So much calm and control and command. Very impressive.

In this playoff format- it’s pretty wide open.  It’s like the NFL- who gets hot at the right time.

and don’t overlook Oregon or Penn State or Georgia.

Lastly- don’t put Ohio State in the same category with Texas.  They havnt proven much.

He'll be coming home a week from Thursday.

One of the inspirations for the name Cedar is my wife's undergrad alma matter, which just so happens to be astride the Red Cedar River.
