Can Butch Jones and Todd Graham survive 1-2 starts? The fans are already grumbling.

Projecting.  Will be interesting if they do go with the best game this week (Clemson-Louisville), or the solid but lesser games, that have better intangibles (Miami-FSU or USC-Texas)

They've already done FSU, and they seem to not like Pac 12 locations due to the early start, particularly USC.
Per RTF above, week one is officially set.  Even if it weren't, it seems beyond obvious.  You can't pass up #1 v #3 especially when the only other ranked v ranked game is #9 v #16.

I think week 2 is pretty obvious as well.  Unless one or both of tOSU and OU suffer enormous upsets in week #1 the Oklahoma at Ohio State game will be a top-10 matchup and the next best are good (better than week #1) but nowhere near THAT good.

By the time you get to week #3 there are a lot more variables.  Not only do you have to consider the possibility of upsets but you also have to consider that a top-10 team that starts out with two close calls against inferior opponents is going to drop even at 2-0.

They've already done FSU, and they seem to not like Pac 12 locations due to the early start, particularly USC.

if clemson/louis are both undefeated, that could be a top 10 matchup, but more likely top5/15. then again, usc/texas could be a top5v15 type matchup too.

personally, i'd prefer usc/texas, but either will likely be solid choice.

don't see miami/fsu unless the other 2 above fall apart from losses or something.

also don't think they'd pick bama after week 1, but that week looks so weak and it's few and far between when they get to go to nashville, so maybe.

Yeah, if it was in Tuscaloosa, I think they'd go to Bolder, but I think they take the chance to go to Nashville.

That's my other thought.  Also if Vandy doesn't upset KSU, it doesn't matter anyway.

As far as "odd" locations go that week?  They could finally throw WSU their bone.  Texas A&M-Arkansas in JerryWorld.  Navy is at home, they always like military locations.
