I'm trying to figure out who that is. Why is he wearing corn shucker gloves?

The current #22 is Stecker's nephew, I believe. True freshman.

The gloves are strange, but that image is all over the internet (including signed copies for sale on eBay), so I doubt it is AI.

Mike Brown was a multi-year starter at Nebraska and led the team in tackles his final three seasons, finishing his career as the second-leading tackler in school history (currently fourth). As a senior, Brown posted career bests in tackles (96) and interceptions (5, tied with several others for the eighth most in a season). Brown was also a team captain and won the Guy Chamberlain Trophy. He was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame in 2011 and enjoyed a successful career in the NFL with the Chicago Bears.

My favorite player...................... I have this 8x10 glossy that was signed by Roger when I met him in my cousin's office on campus in 1981 (I was a freshman)  The 1981 Florida St game was my first experience in Memorial Stadium

Second-Round Draft Pick, 1983 NFL Draft (San Francisco)
1981 All-Big Eight

1982 (Senior)
Craig was second on the Huskers with 586 yards as senior, finishing his career at Nebraska just three yards shy of Rick Berns for No. 3 on the NU career rushing list. Injuries hampered an early-season experiment that saw Craig at fullback and Mike Rozier at I-back. His top rushing game of the season was a 127-yard performance in the regular-season finale against Hawaii.

1981 (Junior)
The third-leading rusher in the Big Eight, Craig led NU in rushing yards with 1,060 yards on 173 carries and six touchdowns to earn All-Big Eight honors from the Omaha World-Herald. He averaged 6.1 yards per carry and 96.5 per game. He became Nebraska's seventh single-season 1,000-yard rusher. Craig and Mike Rozier combined for 2,003 yards from Nebraska's I-back spot. Craig topped 100 yards four times--121 vs. Penn State, 121 vs. Oklahoma, 102 vs. Oklahoma St. and a career-best 234 vs. Florida State, the third-best single-game performance in Nebraska history at the time. Craig tied the longest run in NU history with a 94-yard touchdown run against the Seminoles as he earned national back-of-the-week honors from both AP and Sports Illustrated, as well as Big Eight offensive player-of-the-week accolades. In addition to his rushing exploits, Craig was fourth on the team with 12 receptions (87 yards). He had 10 carries for 87 yards, including a 26-yard touchdown against No. 1 Clemson in the Orange Bowl.

1980 (Sophomore)
Even though he was the third-string I-Back, Craig gained 769 yards on 108 carries for a 7.1 average and scored 15 TDs, good for sixth nationally in scoring. He was second in the Big Eight in scoring and seventh in rushing. He was named Big Eight Offensive Player-of-the-Week after rushing 21 times for 176 yards and three touchdowns against Colorado with Jarvis Redwine and Craig Johnson both injured.  Against Kansas State, he ran nine times for 183 yards, including touchdown runs of 32 and 69 yards.

Roger was from IOWA - Hayden Fry really wanted him as a Hawkeye

At Davenport Central HS
Craig was an All-American and all-state performer for Coach Jim Fox at Davenport Central High School.  Craig was a teammate of NU tight end Jamie Williams.

That's actually Larry Caper.

OSU and UM stopped recruiting Ringer after his second ACL tear

Johnny Rodgers is arguably the greatest return specialist who ever lived.

His eight touchdowns on kickoffs and punt returns in a career is still an NCAA record (since tied by nine others).

He holds Nebraska records for career punt return touchdowns (7), career punt return yards (1,515), punt return yards in a game (170) and the longest punt return touchdown in a bowl game (77 yards). He previously held the mark for the longest punt return touchdown in a game (92 yards), but is now third.

In 2002, DeJuan Groce beat Johnny's record for punt return yards in a season, but Rodgers still holds the second-, fourth- and eighth-best punt return seasons in school history.

Rodgers didn't return as many kickoffs as he did punts, but he was still an electric returner. He is one of two Huskers (Joe Walker being the other) to return a punt and kickoff for a touchdown in the same season. That kickoff return (98 yards) is tied for the ninth longest. For his career, Rodgers left school as the leader in career kickoff return yards (847) and is still in the top 10.

His returns have been described as improvisational jazz. A little scat, a little bebop and a loud crescendo to the goal line.
