Yeah I haven't really seen anyone in the main stream suggesting that this year's Ohio State team has the most talent ever.  I've certainly seen some suggesting that they have the most talent this year, and that's reasonable, they very possibly might.

Bevo is banned from Tiger Stadium for the sheer hypocrisy.
BEVO is also banned from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln for some good reason

agree 100%.

Ohio State can be had. They've already proven that, twice. Are they a hell of a team? Of course.  But this nonsense about "mOsT taLeNteD tEam EvAR OmErG tWeNtY mIlLun DuHleR rOsTeR" has got to stop. They might be the best team if they finish the job during a weak year where there really is no great team that stands clear cut above the rest- and that's that.

People need to look at those early 2000s Miami teams when they talk most talented rosters of all-time. Sean Taylor was a backup because Ed Reed started in front of him. Ed Reed is only the greatest safety in this history of the fucking game and Sean Taylor might've been that if not for his tragic murder. Frank Gore was the 3rd string RB because Clinton Portis and Willis McGahee were ahead of him. Andre Johnson is a HOF WR and was Jeremiah Smith before Jeremiah Smith. Vince Wilfork who is an NFL HOF'er was the starting NT. I am sure I am missing many more 1st round picks and legends. But those Miami teams were the most talented teams ever assembled and we'll probably never see anything the likes of that again.
True.
I was there in person when this happened:

“The Miami Hurricanes entered the 2003 National Championship Game on a ridiculous win streak of 34 games and boasted one of the most talent-laden teams of all time -- including NFL players such as Andre Johnson, Jonathan Vilma, Sean Taylor, Willis McGahee, Ken Dorsey, DJ Williams, Antrel Rolle, and a few others. However, it was a Maurice Clarett-led offense that stole the show, as the freshman ran for two touchdowns, including the game-clincher in double overtime.”

Any one who buys that hype around this Cotton Bowl is not living in reality.

I am quite confident the players- on both team- don’t buy it.  The Buckeyes were 12 point dogs, but I heard predictions leading up to the game as crazy as Miami 56-0.  I knew from the first snap it was going to be a war.  I expect the same on Friday.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Interesting weather in Dallas area, might make it difficult for anyone planning to fly in on Thursday, or anyone planning to drive in Thursday or Friday.  5-8" of snow predicted during the day on Thursday, with accumulation of 3-5" overnight. That's enough to shut down most Texas cities for a few days...

Eh? That's what we called a dustin' growing up... Just get the plows moving, get the salt crews going, and you're good to go!

Oh, wait... This is Texas. Never mind. It'll shut you down for a week :57:

Yeah I really have no desire to see another college football game in that stadium.  I like it fine for NFL but for college it's just a really sterile, soulless venue.  I doubt I'd go even if I had free tickets and a teleportation device to get me from my couch, into and out of the stadium, with zero effort.

Luckily Austin is down below the snow/wintry mix line for this storm.  We're only supposed to get rain.

I was in DFW a couple weeks after the Super Bowl the year where there was ice/snow the week of.  The Uber driver ran his mouth the entire fare talking about how much money they lost in fares, because nobody wanted to go anywhere, and the SB had people all over the metroplex and it was the worst week evahhh.

Ticket prices beginning to drop now that people are realizing they might not be able to get to the stadium on game day.

Because of 1996.

Can I use that machine?
