Yup, I've got some Longhorn friends in Austin that do the same, and they have a group of LSU fans that they meet up with every year up there, regardless of whether or not either team is actually in the CWS.  Those are the same LSU folks that we always tailgate with when they come to play us in Austin, great folks.

I'm really quite surprised that neither UF nor Miami made it out of the Gainesville regional.  But college baseball is always full of surprises.

I'm obviously hoping USF's Cinderella story ends abruptly in Austin this weekend, but ya never know.

And hired away Detroit's hitting coach (Jose Cruz Jr.) who played there.

They were discussing how the Pac 12 schools, namely USC, have kind of fallen off from their peak in recent years.  The Oregon schools took a big step forward, but have sort of seemingly plateaued again.  ASU and Stanford haven't been national title contenders in like a decade, until Stanford seemed to get back on track with this new hire.  USC has completely fallen off the face of the earth.

Any reason?

Arkansas won 21-2, then lost two 1-run games.  Fun stuff.  Welp, the best team isn't winning the CWS this year.
