We're DOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEDDDDDDD. :)

ASU has proven to have very good offense all season long.  That' worry enough for our team.  Here's hoping the Horns' bats are alive tonight.  I'll probably go to the game if the weather is alright.

I made it for about half of the Texas game yesterday afternoon, it was great to be at the ballpark with full attendance allowed.  Horns looked pretty good, but against a woefully overmatched opponent.  Tonight's game against ASU is gonna be a tough one and could certainly go either way.

Where oh where is @DevilFroggy ?

Hi.

ASU baseball fans are in a weird spot. By and large the vast majority of us want our coach Tracy Smith gone, rightfully so, and have for years now. Unfortunately our AD, who is otherwise a solid AD, seems enamored with him for some reason. So on one hand we always want ASU to win every single game, because of course. On the other hand, we're not exactly displeased with results that hopefully convince out AD that Smith needs to go. Maybe failing to make yet another Super Regional will help.
I thought I settled my debts that night on the ride home

So what are the various scenarios by which the Wolverines can be eliminated in their Regional?

Obviously if they barf up the UConn game right out of the gate, and then suffer one of those directional Michigan losses that ELA boldly predicted, but that's too easy.

Someone needs to step up and take on the Medina role here. :098:

Well that's exactly what happened, the Wolverines bow out after those two games.

Also bowing out after two games was Florida, from the big bad SEC. :098:

Florida was the 7 seed in the SEC tournament, and we hosted a regional.  So don't worry, Omaha will have plenty of SEC exposure.

Nebraska survived that most ridiculous sequence early handing out two runs without the use of an Arkansas bat.  The rubber match will decide it Monday.

I turned it off and went to bed after they pulled the starter.  Too many mistakes and errors and blunders.  Apparently they play better when I'm not watching

glad I could help

Fayetteville, Ark. – Kyle Perry and Spencer Schwellenbach limited No. 1 Arkansas to four hits, as No. 19 Nebraska rallied back to force a decisive game seven in the Fayetteville Regional with a 5-3 win Sunday night.

The Huskers (34-13) trailed 3-2 after four frames, but used a three-run fifth inning and Schwellenbach slammed the door with a career-best 4.2 shutout innings to silence a Baum-Walker Stadium crowd of 11,084. The Big Ten Player of the Year, who also had an RBI single, fanned four and allowed just one hit - lowering his season ERA to 0.57.

The Huskers will look to become the fourth team to knock off the No. 1 overall seed in regional play since the NCAA Tournament went to 64 teams in 1999. Monday's first pitch between the Huskers and Razorbacks (48-11) is set for 6 p.m. (CT). Of the previous three teams to eliminate the No. 1 national seed in regionals, two have been from the Big Ten (Michigan, 2007 and Maryland, 2015).
