Watching some ACC football and pretending the Bucks and Ducks are on another channel, trying to get their game in before the stadium catches fire.

Syracuse gets boned by the worst rule - the illegal blind side block, which makes it illegal to block someone "with force" if they aren't looking at you.  Wipes a touchdown off the board.

Doesn't help that it was a wimpy kicker

True, though I hate the rule because it doesn't give blockers much idea of how to proceed.  They should allow you to grab a guy or something if you are coming from the blindside - right now I think the only thing legal is to just stand with your arms down and get run over as being your "block."

Tar Heel defense carrying the day so far - they've turned the ball over twice but Cuse can only get 3 points out of it.

I agree there should be some way to block from the blind side seems unfair

I like the basic rule to stop serious injury but it doesnt give the offensive player much of a chance to stop the defender

Iowa State finally gets on the board with 4 1/2 left in the 2nd quarter.

Louisiana responds by running the ensuing kickoff back to the house.

Tied 7-7.
