Stanford's hitting is better than our pitching, good news for us is they've used up their best pitching already while ours doesn't take a significant drop (because it's only so-so to begin with).  Hopefully today will be a lot closer than yesterday and we'll have a chance to pull it out in the end.

Well, Stanford's always been my second favorite school, so I suppose I'll be pulling for them.  Should be some fun games on either side of the bracket.

We've had several home-and-home series with LSU over the years, always a good time.   That's one of the things I'm really looking forward to in the SEC, lots of good baseball series.  Hopefully I'll get to travel away, to some of them.

I've never been to a football game in Baton Rouge.  The LSU football fans that visited Austin 4 years ago were about 50/50. Some good, some bad.
