An argument could be made that since Iowa runs a lot of 2-TE formations, that Iowa's 2nd TE, T.J. Hockenson, should be one of the options listed for 2nd team all Big Ten.

Also another interesting tidbit.  Rumor has it that Iowa OC Brian Ferentz may be experimenting with a 4-TE formation this year.

T.J. Hockenson really has the potential for a break-out year.

As a point of clarity, ELA doesn't make these up. He never has and won't. The choices belong to the media and coaches.

I went with Zander, because of the QB and supporting cast, he's a senior, and the name is cool

Zander is going to be a great blocker again, no question. He may catch a few more passes than last year, but I'm thinking the primary catching TE this year should be Jake Ferguson. He is a RS Freshman and is at 6-5 240.

If he looks a little like King Barry, it's because it's his grandson.

Some of you UNL fans might know his father, Brad, who played in Lincoln.
