If you didn't "note" it the last 200 times you deployed your new record skipping buzz phrase that replaced the Tom Herman tweet, then you aren't going to "note" it this time around either.

Here's how it is going to go down. UTee is going to do this little stoic act, biding his time until after the NCG. Then his next move will depend entirely on the outcome.

Texas wins: He shows up here to gloat and showboat and spike the football.

Kentucky wins: I poke him in the eye one last time, and it finally pushes him past his breaking point.

Either way, he will put on a pretty entertaining show.

Is he featured on Law and Order

seriously you need to remove utee from your head

Im sure it must hurt

This is kind of funny. UTee has picked up a little crony that just follows him around, acting just like him. Like the Robin to his Batman, or the Ernie to his Bert.

I think I will call you guys Peat and Repeat.

Well whatever happens, I won't be posting on this thread any further, since Texas' string of games against the B1G has completed.

If you really feel the need to stalk me further, you can find me on the B12 Volleyball thread that you so politely created for us.

as I watched the Longhorns take down the great Husker squad, I figured the Horns were probably the best team in the nation.

Kentucky has no chance

I wouldnt say that.   However, a Texas team that can serve and pass the way they have here this past week,  really hard to beat 3/5.  That's been the UT Achilles in past, thus far, no issue.

UK has enough offense, nobody's been able to block Texas well enough to give themselves a chance with transition.   Nebraska had a good game plan, just badly performed in serve receive and on OH/Opp. That's a jimmy and Joe problem.

Wisconsin had some moments, oddly it was the Freshman, not the ton of seniors, that really came to play for them.   Don't like to name names but their two studs were not very impactful last night.

I was stirring a bit, but, until someone blocks Texas at least decently, they are the fav

It's interesting, and this is me being wonky w vball as a coach and frequent viewer, Texas has gone the route of 3 DS'   defensive specialists,  to be their strategy for passing in back row and really let their 3 weapons be their offense. It's really worked well.  Kentucky has to serve really tough,  at Logan and force Texas out of system as much as possible (admittedly a captain obvious strategy).   I think UK has the mix of talent to do this.   Best setter, yes, Lilley can't do it alone.  Can they avoid the Bridesmaid crowd which continues to grow?

My local book had UK as -160 moneyline fav.  Texas was +130.   I had a small wager.   That was a very high level volleyball match.  Was rooting for 5 sets.   The kid, Stumler, from Floyd Knobs, IN was really special for UK.    First SEC title in vball.  First New champ since Washington over 15 years ago.     Probably best non 5 set final I've  seen in a long time.    UK will miss Lilley but wouldn't be surprised to see these two in the Finals again this fall.

Nebraska volleyball gets a commitment from Caroline Jurevicius, she announced today on Instagram.
She’s a 6-foot-2 right-side hitter from Gates Mills, Ohio, and the No. 6 national recruit.
Her dad is retired NFL wide receiver Joe Jurevicius.

Nebraska volleyball’s national title hopes received a big boost on Friday as senior middle blocker Lauren Stivrins announced she will take advantage of a bonus year of eligibility and return to Nebraska this fall.

The news is a potential big boost for the Huskers, who will also have Lexi Sun back taking advantage of an extra year of eligibility. Stivrins has earned All-American honors three times during her Husker career, and was a first-team All-American last season for the Big Red.

Nebraska will host its annual Red-White scrimmage on Aug. 21, with the regular season schedule getting underway Aug. 27 at home against Tulsa.
