I gotta be a homer here --

All of these guys are good, but KJ Hamler averaged 18 yards per catch, that's good for 2nd in the B1G.  It's almost like you guys just sorted by total yards and voted...

Gattis is known for being a WR coaching guru of sorts. Add to that the offense is supposeduly going to be all Gattis' and opened way up for the passing game. Add to that Shea is going into his senior year and just had a full first-season to work out the kinks and get to know DPJ and the other WR's better. Add to that Tarik Black should be back healthy, meaning DPJ will see less and less double coverage. Not that he saw a lot of it last year. But with Black back in the fold, can't really double anyone to be honest.

This is definitely his make or break year imo. And I think he'll have a big year. Just got to see Harbaugh back off and give the keys over to Gattis before I believe it. I want to believe Jim. I do. But I'll believe he moves into the new age of offense and I'll believe he lets someone else have total control when I see it.

the 18 YPC is terrific, but he only had 5 receiving TD's and he looks like he's 5'8 and 160 pounds to my eye. Don't get me wrong, he's the perfect slot-ninja and he's as dangerous as it gets with the ball in his hands, but he's tiny as hell. Some tiny guys that doesn't matter- see DeSean Jackson or Steve Smith- but not sure he's even as big as those guys and he certainly not nearly as polished a route runner or as physical of a receiver as those guys were.

He's 5-9ish and weights 178 pounds.

He averaged 18 yards per catch as a freshman. 

He broke the Penn State freshman record for all purpose yards last season, with 1417. 

But most importantly, the kid has continued to get better and better.  Methinks he will certainly best some of the guys getting more votes than him this season.
