I could do without the Gay stuff.  Meh.

It was love stuff.

I will also say this about the Last of Us (both seasons). The biggest thing that bothers me about it is that the characters (Joel in particular)--who are supposed to be hardened surivivors with over a decade of apocalypse living (in Joel's case as a smuggler)--make really bad decisions that I have a hard time believing said survivors would make.
I've made it this far, so why not just waltz into the middle of a city area without reconoitering it first.
Sure, that's what a smuggler who's really good at avoiding federal authorities, brutal roving gangs, and infected fungus zombies who cause a 100% fatality rate from bites would do.
That said, I thought the story and the production in season 1 were really good. Episode 2 of Season 2 was also all kinds of fun for epic events. GOT-ish in that way (before GOT lost Martin's books as a guide).

I can overlook certain weak plot points. But not what I call lazy writing. A well written show will make you forget lazy writing.
