You are not THAT fearless?
I haven't lived in Michigan in nearly 20 years, but I do go back for events. The area around the stadiums is very nice, and I've heard the addition of the new Wings/Pistons arena has only made it better. I actually went to a wedding down there in 2019, and was shocked how nice it was. When I was in high school, you would have never gone to Detroit to go eat. It was Tigers game, and get the hell out of there.
So just put a shock collar on to keep you within like 4 blocks of the stadium, and you should be fine.
