I like confidence pools

the only real problem is that a player has to sign up initially or cant play at all

it might be a challenge to get a large number of players to take the time to sign up

I was thinking 20

There are 9 Big Ten bowls

There are 10 other bowls involving a ranked team, after Christmas, but one is BYU-Auburn

Add one other game between unranked P5 teams.

Only thing is the first such ranked games are #13 BYU-UAB and #23 Louisiana-Marshall on December 18, so it would start earlier.  Otherwise we could do 15, and it would be exclusively December 31-January 1 games
