So by conference

SEC - #1 Tex, #2 Bama,  #5 Ga, #10 Miss St
Big Ten - #6 Ind, #7 Ohio St
ACC - #4 Miami, #9 Pitt
Big 12 - #8 TT, #11 BYU
G6 - #12 JMU
Other - #3 ND

It will be interesting to see if the Big Ten can get a 3rd team in the CFP.  I guess any Big Ten team could run the table and still get in.  Especially Oregon, UCLA, NW, Iowa and Neb.

Well, if they run the table, they get the autobid.  So really is it one more loss, are they still ok.  I think so.  You can also include USC and Minnesota in that group

Iowa would be the only questionable one, simply because assuming they win out, then lose to Indiana or Ohio State in the CCG, then they are 11-2, but what's their best win?  Depending on where things go from here, probably Minnesota, Northwestern or Nebraska?

If Nebraska gets to 11-2, it would mean 2 wins over the OSU, Indiana, Oregon group

Yes, I guess a more interesting question would be can any team win all their games EXCEPT for losing to Ind and/or Ohio St and/or the CCG and still make the CFP.  Maybe its too early for those types of questions

I agree, because I don't think we know which teams from that 4-9 range wind up 10-2, and which wind up 7-5.  I think that helps determine how those wins look

Miami missed at 10-2 in 2024.  Notre Dame, BYU, Vanderbilt, and Utah missed at 10-2 last year.

No 9-3 team has gotten in...yet
