I think closer to Iowa...Wisconsin more recently (until 2020). I think more like Iowa. Minnesota's football history trends a lot more ancient than UCLA's.

Well...
UCLA is right around #25 in all-time FBS winning percentage, behind USC and Washington, ahead of Oregon, and is #3 in all-time Pac-10/12 conference titles (behind USC and Washington), and 4th in Pac-10/12 Rose Bowl wins (curiously it goes USC, Stanford, Washington, UCLA), same for Rose Bowl appearances.

That's when you fell off of the little cliff up on the top.

2016 was when you fell off of the rest of the cliff.
We could go with 2017

A big brand... in basketball.

Clearly Indiana and Illinois are the biggest brands among the basketball schools, as they are the only ones that are having their hardwood prestige bleed over into success on the gridiron.

We all agree on 9 of the top ten, in some order.
Although the football team has been down the last couple years,  I would argue Mich St is the top basketball brand right now in the Big Ten.  They had a pretty good run with Magic Johnson playing and then again they have had a long run of success with Tom Izzo coaching since 2000.

MD, Mich, Purdue and Ohio St have all had decent basketball runs too with mixed football success.

Edit: Never mind.  I figured out you were talking about basketball schools with football teams in the top ten.  Ignore my post.

We are all equal but some are more equal than others.

So much for the Power Rankings Thread

1) Wisconsin.

2) Really good discussions of college football stuff with people who have been around enough not to talk in generalities and sound bytes.

3) Random discussions of things with near strangers who are also friends...which is also kinda random.

4) Trying to find ways to rank Purdue really low without offending a real standup poster.

5) (Puzzling through why Nebraska is here, but liking their posters)

6) A good place to celebrate the little victories in life.

7) A good place to vent about the silliness (so long as it's not politics)

8) Watching MDot and OAM's posts and the responses like a tennis match.

9) Pretty good advice on food and travel.

10) Ohio State vs. Michigan flamewars, that, like any good wildfire, can start and spread anywhere.

18-millionteenth) UCLA.

Really? I'm not sure I'd describe @jhetfield99 as being "offended" by your rankings of Purdue...
