Sure.  And we should get rid of all cars and all opiate derivative pharmaceuticals, and all doctors for that matter- they kill more than any other group...

Why dont we live and let live?  Charlie didn't kill himself.  He was killed by some lunatic who was radicalized by..... his fucking self.  Wanna blame something? The shooter.  Blame the shooter.  Personal responsibility will never be legislated just like morals won't.

This place is a good example.  The left stays north of the right down south in a51.  Yall dont like them, bit ive not heard any of yall trying to kill them or even shut them up... our contract with society is complicated, but it works.

We gotta stop celebrating and supporting mental illness, and we've gotta let people with different values live in peace..

I'm not sure who is celebrating mental illness.

But what gets sketchy about the last part is that 99.9% of us do let people with different values live in peace....except radicalized politicians insist on running for office.  Things would be better with politicians just being middle-ground and greedy.  But the big OOPS part of it is they've discovered being radical on either end of the spectrum garners a lot more money.

So as radical politicians pass laws in 51/49 situations, that's not letting others live in peace.  It's a legal infringement that's going to piss people off.

I don't mean to go political here, but it's both sides and I cannot see how it isn't connected, along with the broken social media addiction harming our society as well.

A person much smarter than me once said "we arent responsible for our thoughts, but we are responsible for our decisions and actions".

We're asking "how was that person radicalized"... thats dumb.  Of course he was influenced.  Our society is predicated on propaganda from sales to politics to faith.... of course its a odyssey to navigate through it... but who is radicalized? Why?  Because they were led astray? Where were their people? Why didn't someone correct them?

I recall being told over and over as a kid "just because someone talks sweet to you doesn't mean theyre your friend; just because someone opposes you doesn't mean theyre your enemy".   People need to toughen up- part of being weak is not speaking up in your circle when you see a wrong developing, which is just as bad as people letting others make their decisions.... I define that weakness as a flavor of mental illness.

I think anything further that folks want to say about Charlie Kirk, can be done on the political threads down in Area51.  Or not at all.  This has played itself out on this thread.

Graham Greene died last week.
The Native American Canadian was an Oscar-nominated actor who was in a ton of stuff.
Most notably, as the native who interacted with Kevin Costner's character the most in Dances with Wolves.
A few years later, he HILARIOUSLY parodied that character in Mel Gibson's Maverick.
I didn't know his name, but I always liked him when he was in something I was watching.
