Do y'all see any purpose to these things (beyond filling air time etc.)?

Obviously, they are media events, OK fine, but does any real information come out of them?

Yeah I have no idea what "the fans" even get out of it.  I'm a fan and consider the conference media days to be completely useless.

Buying a glossy error ridden. College football magazine is 100000x more desirable to me than consuming one second of content from media days.
