I am going to tempt fate two weeks in a row.  If it works, I'll be in better shape rest of the way.  They are favored by 4 points.

I do think ELA should consider a double elimination approach seriously for next year

change the rules just cause you suck at the game?

nope this has happened several times like last year

if someone never losses he still probably wins

trying to come up with a way to keep the game going longer if a highly favored team does a Nebraska on us

One strategy though is to take someone different than the masses.  Worked out well this time, but most years you get bit.

thats true but when the masses lose 2nd game of season what fun is it to the majority

with double elimination at least ya still have a chance and if you have not lost any you have a better chance but the interest is still there for the majority

Im not complaining just making a suggestion as to how to keep the majority involved a little longer

Glad to be on the right side of a mass loss for once.

This early, if someone wanted to organize a 2nd game that started week 4 probably still could (maybe start next week eliminate 4 teams to make more interesting).  Don't think that is something I can keep track of this year and ELA already has this one, but if I think you would get some play with a week notice before it starts.

Double elimination eliminates a good deal of the strategy.  I hate the thought of getting through a bad team on an elimination, then you get to the end and one team has Rutgers left, because they never used them, and the other doesn't even though they used them in a loss

I see no difference in strategy because if you dont lose its the same as the old way the one with o losses would beat all 1 loss players it only makes a difference if the only players left all have 1 loss but folks get to play longer

Im not going to die on this hill just making a suggestion for your consideration
