I'm inclined to agree but the wagering wars played me like a cheap violin

If I hadn't bet against my Huskers last Saturday I would have hit a perfect 6 against the spread

Oh well, just $195 I really didn't need

East wins:

  • tOSU>UNL
  • M>MN
  • UMD>MN

West wins:

  • NU>UMD
  • IA>MSU
  • UW>M
  • UNL>PSU
  • IL>RU

Games remaining:

  • IA@PSU 11/21
  • tOSU@IL 11/28
  • NU@MSU 11/28
  • RU@PU 11/28
  • IU@UW 12/5
  • PU@IU 12/12
  • B1GCG 12/19
  • B1G-E2 vs B1G-W2 12/19
  • B1G-E3 vs B1G-W3 12/19
  • B1G-E4 vs B1G-W4 12/19
  • B1G-E5 vs B1G-W5 12/19
  • B1G-E6 vs B1G-W6 12/19
  • B1G-E7 vs B1G-W7 12/19

Cross-over games by team:
B1G-E:
  • 1-0 tOSU with one more to play (Illinois)
  • 0-0 IU (UW, PU)
  • 1-1 UMD
  • 1-1 M
  • 0-1 PSU (Iowa)
  • 0-1 MSU (NU)
  • 0-1 RU (PU)
B1G-W:
  • 1-0 NU (MSU)
  • 1-0 IA (PSU)
  • 1-0 UW (IU)
  • 1-0 IL (tOSU)
  • 0-0 PU (RU, IU)
  • 1-1 UNL
  • 0-2 MN
So the West is up 5-3 with six more games in the regular season.  Right now the favorites would probably be IA, tOSU, NU, PU, UW, and IU.  That would make it 9-5 in favor of the B1G-W.

Unless the B1G-W sweeps the rest of the regular season games, this will be decided in what they are calling "Big Ten Champions Week" the weekend of December 19.  Even if the B1G-W sweeps the rest of the regular season games they would still only be up 11-3 with seven more to play so the B1G-E could get it back to 11-10 with a sweep there.

Usually the West evens things out by fattening up on Indiana, Maryland and Rutgers, but this year they are also gorging on Penn St, Michigan St and Michigan.

I'd like to see Michigan vs Nebraska that weekend

seems possible

Huskers already played OSU and PSU

Maryland and Rutgers aren't preferred, MSU probably finish last
Played the Hoosiers in Lincoln last season and the Hoosiers probably finish #2 in the east

Doesn't matter unless the West can win a CCG. It has yet to do that.

I believe MSU was in the west during Leaders/Legends when they beat tOSU.Going off memory so don't hold me to that

Don't remind me about that debacle/plot to get an OSU/UM title game every year.

Correction, they were in the "Where is Wisconsin?" division.  :93:

Finally in 2014 they corrected their mistake.

Really need to see how UW does in the House of Horrors that is Ryan Field this weekend.
NU has a y-u-u-g-e advantage over UW in that NU plays in front of an opposing crowd at home. This year it will play only in front of moms and dads if they are allowed in the stadium. NU won't be intimidated. (I still expect UW to win, but NU relishes its disruptive role so, look out!)

Yep, I'm not banking this one.

No fans allowed this year. Not even moms and dads. Governor said so.
