Has it? I don't think so. If Wisconsin goes 7-5, or 8-4 with the win over Minnesota to end the season, they will be a big step behind where the Badgers were from 2010-2020. It isn't a comeback yet.
2010-2020?

I'd say more like 1990-2020. And I agree, they are not "back" yet.

I don't know what the AD is going to do. Sounds like mixed signals in Madison right now.

USC is hard for me to figure right now. I'm also very curious about this game. With a win, Wisconsin could still finish 9-3, but I think 7-5 is more likely. A loss at either Maryland or Purdue should lead to an immediate change at the top. At 7-5 Fickell should still be gone. At 8-4, assuming a win over Minnesota, that's just enough for the Badgers to be considered ok. Not "back," but marginally ok.
8-4 would piss me off.

Yeah, 8-4 would be in the bottom twenty percent of seasons since 1993...and would be the third worst season since 2004.

Last week in parenthesis

  • OHIO STATE (1) - not sure they can beat USC if Sayin is out though
  • INDIANA (2) - so they can bleed
  • UCLA (3) - it's starting to look difficult for them NOT to make the CFP
  • OREGON (5) - not the Oregon offense we are used to, but a W is a W
  • NEBRASKA (4) - has to feel like they should be undefeated
  • IOWA (6) - bye week
  • NORTHWESTERN (7) - gutty win when they weren't able to get their run game going
  • USC (8) - bye week
  • WISCONSIN (9) - the cross country trips are never fun, but this defense deserves better
  • PURDUE (10) - throw #10 through #14 in any order, and I'd have a tough time arguing
  • MINNESOTA (11) - bye week
  • MICHIGAN (12) - got the spark they were looking for
  • WASHINGTON (15) - just when I was ready to write them off
  • ILLINOIS (14) - bye week
  • PENN STATE (13) - going into a bye week, and then playing 5 opponents they should beat, lets see what they have
  • MICHIGAN STATE (16) - second week in a row they were in a position to win, and couldn't make the play
  • RUTGERS (18) - at least they haven't quit
  • MARYLAND (17) - they have

I am still not convinced that USC is any better than Wiscy in the power rankings,  but if USC can travel to Madison and pull off the W,  then of course I will concede I was wrong .
Hope you're not wrong, that punk who took out Dante Moore should have been suspended for the season
