Harbaugh might someday have an all timer of a season like he did at Stanford.
For the most part Harbaugh's gonna Harbaugh; soundly beating the teams that he should, which will get him in or around the ten win club annually, keeping his job secure.
he needs to overhaul that offense and evolve. mainly his passing game. if he doesn't, he'll never live up to the promise.
Ed Warriner was a freaking great hire. He took a trash OL unit and through half a season he's made them a little bit better every single week. Still nowhere near they need to be, but I have been blown away but how much better he's made that OL. That dude is for real.
Don Brown is about as good as it gets for a DC, Mattison is about as good as it gets for a DL coach, and Mike Zordich has been impressive coaching up those CB's. Chris Partridge and Al Washington are young, energetic,
great recruiters who have helped Michigan recruit at a high level on that defense. Washington has Michigan right in the thick of it for 5* all-everything DE recruit Zach Harrison. If they land Harrison- it'll be 100% because of Washington.
If they can't develop that passing game to get them over the hump, it'll be a real shame. Patterson is a big-time talent and with Black back not sure I've seen Michigan have WR's this talented in a long time.
Will be a waste of a pretty good special teams unit and an elite defense if they don't figure out that offense this year. Harbaugh wasted an elite defense in 2016 by having a lousy offense and losing to Iowa by 1 and blowing the game in Columbus.
