Very. I'm not sure we've had a year with less to debate at the top.

Last week in parentheses

  • MICHIGAN (1) - my how the turntables
  • OHIO STATE (2) - Day has gone from NFL short lists to the warm seat in about 365 days
  • PENN STATE (3) - another strong season, but no division title
  • ILLINOIS (5) - way to handle a potential letdown, after losing control of the division
  • PURDUE (6) - nice to get some new blood in the title game, even though that blood is going to get spilled
  • MARYLAND (7) - way to prove it was the gauntlet and not "November Maryland"
  • MINNESOTA (8) - strong finish, to retain the Axe, but have to be angry the didn't win the division
  • IOWA (4) - talk about your all time gags
  • WISCONSIN (9) - begs the question if anything would have been enough for Jim Leonhard to get the job
  • MICHIGAN STATE (10) - another series of end of game gaffs
  • NEBRASKA (12) - way to play spoilers
  • INDIANA (11) - almost joined their brothers in red in ruining their rivals' weekend
  • RUTGERS (13) - zero fight
  • NORTHWESTERN (14) - zero fight
