@medinabuckeye1 Northwestern gets a somewhat unfair boost by playing both Penn State and Ohio State in horrible weather conditions.

Oh I know, and @Mdot21 will happily tell you about all the garbage time points scored against Michigan and both those factors are valid but to maintain objectivity I've just used raw scores with no adjustments.

Last week in parentheses

  • MICHIGAN (1) - went from losing to nearly covering a 20 point spread in less than 2 minutes
  • OHIO STATE (2) - that was probably a losing effort against at least half the teams in the conference
  • PENN STATE (3) - solid effort, but the Indiana offense is a mess
  • ILLINOIS (4) - no clue what to do with them, but can't drop them behind Wisconsin
  • WISCONSIN (6) - no chance for Lil Tua against a Bucky defense in the conditions
  • MARYLAND (5) - Maryland always gets up for Penn State
  • IOWA (8) - maybe it wasn't just a Northwestern thing, the Hawkeye offense looks competent
  • MINNESOTA (9) - is the Tanner Morgan injury a blessing in disguise?
  • MICHIGAN STATE (10) - very inspired effort by a very depleted defense
  • PURDUE (7) - at what point do we discuss how terrible O'Connell has been in conference play?
  • NEBRASKA (11) - another kick to the nuts
  • RUTGERS (12) - fun first half for the fans in attendance
  • NORTHWESTERN (14) - cue the Frank Beamer celebrating a 0-0 tie jpg
  • INDIANA (13) - when you have to play a QB who already announced he's transferring, things aren't going great
